on the Deity of Jesus
In the book of John he opens
chapter one John 1:1 - 2
with a statement on the deity of Christ. Jesus as
the second part of the Trinity is co-eternal with
God the father.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and
the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- The word was Jesus and he was with God in
the beginning and Jesus ,the word was
God. (I added Jesus to the sentence for
my own clarity. Frankly the KJV
translations stands on it's own.)
John 1:2 The same was in the beginning with
God.
- Jesus was in the beginning with God.
