Notes on the Second Coming

In Hebrews 9:26 explains that Jesus came the first time to pay for our sins by the sacrifice of himself. In Hebrews 9:27 we are told that we die and our judgement comes later. Then in n Hebrews 9:27 it tells us that Jesus paid for our sins and that he will come again to bring salvation for those who wait for him. Those who wait for him are the elect of God who are saved through the gift of Grace and Faith.

26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
