Notes on Judgement and John
Mankind was warned by John that
the time of judgement was upon them. With the
coming of the lord all mankind were either saved
or damned. Many including John the Baptist were
surprised and confused by Jesus' ministry, they
expected him to come as a King in judgement. The
part they missed is that we are judged at death
and the judgement is not of this world but
absolute in the next.

To Understand my faith
better I have decided to construct these pages.
They are strictly educational, non-commercial and
to foster scholarly discussion. All Bible quotes
are from the New International Version unless
otherwise stated. I use the NIV because while not
a perfect translation, certainly the best
available. All mistakes are my own and if you
differ from my thoughts I welcome your comments. J. Barry O'Connell
