  • Veith, Gene Edward. The Spirituality of the Cross, The Way of the First Evangelicals. Concordia Publishing House
After many years of spiritual wandering, author Gene Edward Veith discovered the answers to life in Jesus Christ, and more specifically, in "the way of the first evangelicals (Lutherans)." In detail, Veith discusses the views of these evangelicals and how and why only these Christian beliefs satisfy mankind’s spiritual hunger. Veith states that it all "hinges around redemption." Pastors, Bible students and confirmands will appreciate the honesty of Veith’s search and his easy-to-read apologetics for the faith. Book - The Spirituality of the Cross

To Understand my faith better I have decided to construct these pages. They are strictly educational, non-commercial and to foster scholarly discussion. All Bible quotes are from the King James Version unless otherwise stated. I use the KJV because while not a perfect translation it is literal and out of Copyright. All mistakes are my own and if you differ from my thoughts I welcome your comments. J. Barry O'Connell Jr.
